Blurb: Doctors

I tried really hard not to give in.
Really, really hard.

But the AwesomeSauceness of Kim “Hawt” Rae Won in Doctors was over spilling, and like most viewers in KDrama Universe, have succumbed to his sublime portrayal of a Namja we can only dream to have 🙂

Thank God Weekend’s Here 21

Anyong Yarobun!

Just so I do not have guilt-trips come weekends, there are a few things I’ve got to get done before KDrama Mega-Catch Up like:

Laundry. Driving kids to classes (yes, on a Saturday o_O ). Folding clothes that were left on the dining table because everyone waits for Momma to do so.

Then, I get to make myself a cuppa, settle down in my viewing spot and inhale the goodies that will pretty much take me to dinner time 😀 😀

There was a KDrama draught for me a few months back, but now (even before Uncontrollably Fond premieres) it’s like torrential rain. And I mean torrential to the power of Mangled Apricot Hellbeast level of downpour.

Okay, Descendants of the Son was the exception. One episode in and my reaction was “Hell no. When did Joon Ki become such a Namja?” As in Alpha-Namja? Swoon.

Someone needs to create a time-travel mechanism so that we can still contribute to society while living in a parallel universe (applicable only to hardcore KDrama viewers) o_O

What’s the torrential list I have come weekends, you may ask?

Mirror of the Witch (Fri & Sat)

38 Task Force (Fri & Sat)

Flower in the Prison (Sat & Sun)

Beautiful Gong Shim (Sat & Sun)

Doctors (Mon & Tues)

Lucky Romance (Wed & Thurs)

And then the cycle begins again…
See the deluge? o_O

Have a blast of a weekend, peeps! 😀

Blurb: Valid Love 18

KJ announces to the Jangs that they should all live under one roof. GT wants to call the police, but HT tells him to put away the phone and help him place KJ in GT’s room. The What, Hyung? IR is at the dining table, apologizes to HT when he joins her. She didn’t know KJ would go that far. HT says it wouldn’t have happened if she had left when he asked her to do so.

IR relents and agrees to move out of the house, taking KJ with her. MIL is no longer her concern.

HT voiceover:

Letting him sleep in the house for a night, I thought too lightly of it. My wife, I and that guy, tried to sleep under one roof. That night, I had a bizarre dream…

HT and KJ are brushing their teeth side by side in the bathroom. IR runs to them and demands who squeezed the toothpaste from the middle of the tube.

KJ and HT point at each other… and then both point toward IR. It’s actually in HT and IR’s home and she has prepared a hearty breakfast for them. They are having a cordial conversation about their weekly schedule and bicker cutely about who can accompany IR with her task. She gives them their lunch bags and pats their back as she sends them off for the day.

HT wakes up… voiceover:

It felt real, even though I knew it was a dream. Thank goodness it was a dream.

Blurb: Thank God for Healer

All I can I say is, “Thank the KDrama Gods for an EPIC Ep 15 of Healer” !!

Preview: Valid Love 17

KJ: What am I (to you), Madam Kim?
IR: I followed my heart and came all the way, to this point.
KJ: Don’t talk to me!
Jung Goo: Let’s go out!
HT: I can’t. My wife is doing all the work today.
Jung Goo: Did you guys get back together?
IR: Wait just a little bit. I’ll be there.
KJ: You said you’d come. Then you should have come, even if it was late. How can I not get angry? Why are you still here? Is it me or Dr. Jang?
IR: I know you’re mad, but you made a mistake today.

I just can’t…
Think I need to watch Healer first, yet again…
and then grab my pillow while watching ep 17 with much trepidation…

Blurb: Valid Love 15

HT and dad are in the doctor’s room, listening in closely on the question and answer session between the doctor and HT’s mum. Seems she has trouble remembering current information such as dates and her work. She thinks she still works at a furniture company where HT’s dad first met her.

IR has her usual “chat” with HS, only that she managed to figure out what has been bugging HS all the while she has been away. It’s about HS’ heart. Her will to live on is waning, especially with the recent discovery of Mum’s illness. IR promises to bring her out more often to enjoy the blooming flora and fauna when spring comes.

On their drive back home, HT’s mum denies she has dementia, which the doctor had warned HT earlier. Second stage would be anger when she realizes she’s no longer able to function normally. “Want me to show you how healthy I am?” mum says from the backseat and proceeds to recite a poem, demonstrating her mental strength in memorizing something from the past.

Upcoming Dramas January 2015

Kill Me, Heal Me

A third generation chaebol family member suffers from multiple personality disorder after experiencing numerous life-threatening traumas. As he (Ji Sung) tries to get his life back on  track with the help of a student majoring in psychology (Hwang Jung Eum), the “seven people” whom he created in his body begin their battle to be the dominant personality who will have absolute control over his life.

Park Seo Joon plays a genius writer (but of course) who is determined to dig the secrets and stories of the third generation Chaebol. He stalks him to get the scoop but unexpectedly forms an empathy for him instead.
